Everything we make is in beta.
This page says what that means, where your data goes today, and how to tell us at once if something is wrong.
Mistakes and errors can happen
All six of our products are in beta. Answers can be wrong or incomplete, features can change or break, and something we have not noticed may go wrong. ConsumerSuit gives self-help information, not legal advice, so check anything important with a qualified person.
Our aim for your data
Our aim is that what you put in stays on your own device, in your browser’s own storage. We build checks to make sure of it. But we are early, and a check we wrote may have a mistake. We would rather tell you that now than have you find out later.

Our privacy notice says your case text is not stored on our servers afterwards and that the AI providers do not train on it. That rests on their terms.

The journal is not yet encrypted on your device. Kathaa itself makes no other outside requests and has no analytics. Planned: if we get API credits, we may add Claude for explanations. If we do, what you ask would be sent to Anthropic, and we will update this page before it ships.

The ingredients you type are matched on your device.
On the live site nothing is sent anywhere. The AI features only run in a local version on the builder's own computer.

No public product yet.
Nothing is collected. The placeholder page loads one script from cdnjs, which sees your IP address. Planned: if we get API credits, we may add Claude as the tutor. If we do, what you ask it would be sent to Anthropic, and we will update this page before it ships.

No product yet, and no photos are collected.
The coming-soon pages collect nothing.

If data is sent without your consent, tell us at once
If you see any product sending your data somewhere you did not agree to, or anything that does not match the table above, please tell us straight away. We will treat it as urgent, look at it immediately, and tell you what we find. Say which product, what you saw, and your browser. Please do not include personal details, and please do not exploit it, just report it.
When the AI companies change their rules
Part of our promise depends on the companies whose AI we use, such as Amazon Web Services, Groq, DeepL, Sarvam AI and the others named above. If one of them changes how long it keeps data, or whether it trains on it, a promise we made could stop being true without any change on our side. We read their terms and will tell you when something changes, but we may miss one.
We need experts
If you know this better than we do, we want your help: privacy and security engineers, people who can read network traffic and provider terms, and data-protection professionals. Help us check that each product sends only what we say, and tell us when a provider’s rules change in a way that breaks a promise. We are bootstrapped and cannot pay, but we will credit you if you want that.
